In the picturesque village of Mora, a 19th-century manor house has been converted into a boutique hotel. Sixteen luminous bedrooms enhance a noble architecture. A flower garden offers refuge overlooking the vast plains. And the quintessential service of a butler provides memorable personalised experiences.
Here, where time has a special meaning, we take our time to discover a land rich in history, gastronomy and centuries-old traditions.
Lilacs, originating from China and Japan, are the beautiful flowers our house is named after, colour purple, which is almost blue. Lilac – lilás in Portuguese - is the colour of spirituality, peace, and serenity. A colour that goes hand in hand with our philosophy of “taking” and “savouring our time” in our Alentejo refuge.
